See it in color

The second week of April is going to be here before we know it, and if you're lucky you'll have a pimento cheese sandwich in hand and watching some of the greatest golf in the world. In preparation for all the hype, last week I released a series of watercolor paintings to help celebrate the best time of the year here in Augusta, Georgia.

This wasn't just a quick idea I whipped up, though. For a couple of years now, I've been memorizing over some old black & white photos from a golf book at my parent's house, and somehow turning them into paintings. There's nothing quite like how a black & white photo takes you back in time, right? What a more perfect way to celebrate The Master's than honoring golf in the beginning.
