Part of my series inspired by the song Patches by one of my favorite artists, Stephen Wilson Jr.
 
After years of experimenting with abstracts, I'm really excited how this patchwork style reflects the Americana style that pulls at me so deeply. Each of these abstracts takes multiple layers and constant reworking of the patches in both shape and color to achieve the right composition and color harmony.
